My Impressions:

These are terrible images of pen and nib – I was playing around with different lighting and just couldn’t get a match to the cool globe I was using for illumination. Oh well am too lazy to reshoot. The red Preface is nice if you like bright red – I am more of a burgundy red fan myself both of the colour and wine. The nib is too fine – Preface extra fine nibs rank there with my Japanese ones for fineness. This nib doesn’t give the ink much of a chance to show its blackness. Will have to wait till I get my dip pen to do a good comparison of blackness.
