Sunday night brings a chance to change out a pen and bring a new in for the start of the working week. In comes my Sutab (stub) nibbed Pilot Custom 742. The stub nib is quite fine but does give some line variation.
The ink chosen for this pen is the last of my three recent purchases from the local Montblanc boutique. I couldn’t afford the $3000 plus for the Alfred Hitchcock fountain pen but could stretch the budget to get the accompanying ink. What other colour but red could you have for Alfred Hitchcock given that the pen has a clip in the shape of the knife from Psycho.
Like the Montblanc Meisterstuck Diamond this ink comes in a 30ml cube shaped bottle.
